August Sales Data Posted, Results Better Than Expected

I've posted my latest monthly Current Market Conditions Report, including Sullivan County sales data through August. The most interesting thing is that the year-over-year sales decline, which had been in the 15% to 25% range, narrowed to 9%, while the median sales price he;d steady. Check out the latest Market Conditions Report and come on back here to add your thoughts on what's happening in the market.

Comments

I just wanted to tell you that you write a fabulous report each month and I know you put a lot of work into because it shows when I read your comments. I look forward to reading it each month because its so informative. I bot a small dairy farm up in Herkimer county last year because of the setting and best price at the time. This became a second home since we live in Florida, but originally from Manhattan. We used to have a second home at Greenwood Lake, Orange county, so we looked around Orange county and Sullivan county for a 50 acre farm to restore but we couldnt make the numbers work in this area, so we wound up next to Ilion,Herkimer county. Anyway we keep watching things in your area since we may want to buy there. Thanks again for your monthly reports
