If you've driven west on 17B from White Lake towards Fosterdale, you've probably noticed the stacks of blue plastic pipe alongside the road, and lots of excavating equipment clawing at the dirt. It's the long awaited sewer extention, connecting Bethel Woods to the Bethel sewer plant. (See the article on the 'groundbreaking' from the Mid Hudson News.) It will be interesting to see what, if any, impact there will be on future development along this stretch of 17B with the extension.
Infrastructure- whether it be airports, trains, seaports or septic- is never a bad thing for an area.
