If you've been over to my main site you may have noticed a new look. I've been working on a site overhaul for the past couple of weeks. (For you web jockeys, I've finally joined the modern era, converting from a tables-based layout to a CSS layout.) I roll my own, and don't use an outside web person, so the learning curve has been steep. But hopefully everything works. However, I don't have every browser loaded on my system (only IE7 and Firefox), so I'd appreciate it if anyone comes across problems, particularly inn other browsers (Sarafi, Opera, IE8 and IE6), or any broken links. I haven't converted every page yet, so some 3 or 3 levels down still have the old look.
Next up is a new MLS search. I've contracted with a new vendor, and I'm really excited. That should be live in the next couple of weeks.
David, one thing I found useful about the site is your articles, such as the one about what to expect at a closing. One suggestion: why not add an article for someone looking to buy real estate as an investment?

My husband and I discovered your site last month and have really appreciated not only your insights but also the ability to retrospectively "follow" the market through reading your posts over the past few years. We are starting to think of a second home in the next year or two and Sullivan County is at the top of our list, thanks in part to your excellent commentary and guide to the area. Looking forward to the MLS search feature!
