A reader was kind enough to pass along this announcement that Outstanding in the Field is planning a farm event dinner here in Sullivan County on August 29th with guest chef Jim Lahey of Sullivan St. Bakery in NYC. It's pricey, at $200 a head, but sounds like it could be a pretty fabulous "farm to table" event, with the tables right on the farm. The farm where it will be held is still to be announced.
